Emirates Group, the parent company of the world’s largest international airline, has announced a gargantuan hiring spree in 2025 with an aim to recruit 17,300 new employees across the world in 350 diverse positions. The massive hiring exercise is a reflection of Emirates‘ approach towards targeting long-term growth, innovation, and its image as a premier employer of the aviation industry.

Spanning 150 cities globally, Emirates’ grand recruitment campaign will include more than 2,100 open days and recruitment events, with outreach to candidates for positions in a wide range of categories. Cabin crew and pilots to engineers, IT staff, commercial experts, and ground handling staff – Emirates and its ground handling unit dnata are stepping up the pace of recruitment to fuel expanding operations.

The Dubai-based Group aims to fill critical roles across its airline and ground services, with dnata alone recruiting over 4,000 specialists in cargo, catering, and ground handling. The global hiring push also includes dedicated recruitment events in Dubai designed to attract UAE nationals and fresh graduates, aligning with the country’s commitment to boosting local employment.

Driving Growth Aligned with Dubai’s Vision

The Emirates Group’s recruitment surge aligns closely with Dubai’s ambitious Economic Agenda D33, a 10-year plan targeting significant economic growth by expanding tourism, attracting foreign investment, and strengthening Dubai’s global business hub status. In addition, this hiring campaign supports Emirates’ forecasted expansion while contributing to Dubai’s broader goals of sustainable development and innovation leadership.

Emirates Group has recruited over 41,000 employees to its global team since 2022, today employing 121,000 people worldwide. This ongoing growth solidifies the Group’s reputation as a great employer with state-of-the-art perks such as tax-free pay, profit sharing, comprehensive medical cover, travel allowances, and internationally benchmarked training programs.

Multifaceted Roles to Meet Operational Excellence

The new 17,300 employees spanned a wide range of mainline positions, including:

    • Emirates Airline: Cabin crew, pilots, engineers, commercial sales, customer service, IT, HR, and finance specialists.
    • dnata: Cargo, ground handling, and catering specialists facilitating hassle-free travel and logistics across the world.

Each role has a key contribution to ensuring Emirates’ industry leadership and profitability through good customer service and efficient operation.

Why Dubai Is Attracting Top Talent?

Dubai’s unique blend of economic stability, advanced infrastructure, and lifestyle appeal makes it a magnet for skilled professionals globally. Employees benefit from a secure environment, career growth opportunities, and attractive employee benefits, making the Emirates Group one of the region’s most desirable employers.

Moreover, Emirates’ encouragement of innovation and manpower management attracts millions of candidates annually — over 3.7 million job applications received in the last fiscal year alone. Such interest is a testament to the company’s status as an employer of choice in the region and the world at large.

Record Profits Fuel Growth and Employee Rewards

Propelling this recruitment expansion is Emirates’ strong finances. In its financial year ending March 2025, Emirates achieved a record post-tax profit of Dh19.06 billion ($5.2 billion), a rise of 10.6% amidst international economic uncertainty. Moreover, the revenues grew 6% to Dh127.9 billion, bolstered by sustainable long-haul demand and operational efficiency.

In recognition of this success, Emirates announced a 22-week bonus payout to eligible employees, further reinforcing its people-centric culture and commitment to rewarding staff contributions.

    Conclusion: Emirates Hiring Employees

The Emirates Group’s 2025 hiring drive for 17,300 new employees across 350 roles is a clear sign of its ongoing commitment to growth and excellence in the aviation sector. By investing heavily in talent acquisition and development, Emirates not only supports its global operations but also aligns closely with Dubai’s strategic vision for economic diversification and global leadership.

Additionally, this recruitment drive generates exciting career opportunities worldwide for aviation specialists, establishing Emirates as a leading global employer and travel industry innovator.
